Alappuzha: BJP National Executive Committee member P K Krishnadas held a meeting with SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan. The meeting was held at Vellapally Natesan's residence in Kanichukulangara on Saturday at 10.30 am and it continued for about an hour.
Vellappally Natesan had raised an objection against the government regarding the appointment of the vice chancellor of Sree Narayana Guru Open University. Krishnadas told the media after their meeting that he completely agrees with Vellappally's opinion on this matter.
As Vellappally criticized the government on the issue, the meeting with BJP leader is considered crucial. The leaders of other allies in the NDA also attended the meeting. With the election round the corner, the meeting is thought to be politically relevant.
