BJP leader Damodaran attacked by stray dogs in Kannur, suffers leg injury

Kannur: Senior journalist and BJP national council member A Damodharan was attacked by a stray dog at Mundayad in Kannur on Sunday. He suffered injuries to the leg and received treatment at the district hospital.

Damodharan told Mathrubhumi News that a dog wandering on the side of the road attacked him. He added that stray dog attacks are a constant threat to families living in the area.

A few days back, Shabas Mansoor, and Sayan Saleem, plus one student, were attacked by a group of stray dogs near Ezham Mile while they were on the way to a barbershop. Fortunately, they escaped unhurt after running all the way back to the house and closing the gate behind. The CCTV visuals of the incident were viral on social media.
