BJP former media convenor quits party, set to join CPM
Thiruvananthapuram: Former media convenor of Thiruvananthapuram BJP committee Valiyashala Praveen has resigned from the party on Sunday. He decided to quit BJP protesting against the leadership for not giving any position.
Soon after the resignation, Praveen declared that he held talks with CPM district leadership and will join the Left party.
Praveen, a member of Krishnadas faction, resigned dissatisfied over the party reorganization. He has forwarded his resignation letter to BJP national president JP Nadda.
Praveen had a difference of opinion with the party leadership after they refused to appoint him in the post of Thiruvananthapuram committee president even after winning majority votes in the election.
Meanwhile, BJP leadership refused to respond on the issue.
