Kottarakkara (Kollam): The BJP candidate, who went missing from Neduvathoor panchayat here, came back safely. Ajeev Kumar, the BJP candidate of ward 5 of Neduvathoor panchayat, appeared before the Kottarakkara police.

Ajeev Kumar stated that nobody kidnapped him and that he stayed away from the place due to pressure from some people.

Ajeev Kumar’s family had filed a complaint stating that he was missing. The relatives and party workers lodged a complaint with Kottarakkara police.

Though he was missing for four days, the party workers continued with the campaign. Ajeev Kumar was a CPI activist and joined BJP only recently.
