Irinjalakuda: In a bizarre incident, Noushad, a native of Thrissur's Edathirinji, received a notification from Motor Vehicle Department directing him to pay a fine for using cooling film and not appropriately displaying the number plate in his car. Interestingly, Noushad doesn't have a car and only owns a bike.
The fine was imposed on a Maruti Swift car during an inspection in Kothamangalam's Malayinkeezhu region. However, the fine slip mentions his address, contact details and vehicle number.
Noushad, who works in Thrissur, denies travelling recently to Kothamangalam or Muvattupuzha region.
