Alphonsa
Perinthalmanna: A final year MBBS student of MES Academy of Medical Sciences in Perinthalmanna, died in an accident on the National Highway in Thirurkad on Monday at 6.50 am. The deceased has been identified as Alappuzha native Alphonsa (22).
Her co-passenger Aswin, 22, from Thrissur has been admitted to KIMS Alshifa Hospital.
The accident happened when the bike in which Alphonsa and Aswin were travelling collided with another bike on their way to college.
Following the autopsy at Government District Hospital in Perinthalmanna, the mortal remains were handed over to the relatives of Alphonsa.
