Chavara (Kollam): UDF has alleged that the LDF independent candidate in Chavara constituency is trying to influence the voters by offering liquor.
UDF candidate in the constituency Shibu Baby John released a video through Facebook alleging that LDF independent candidate Sujith Vijayan is offering free liquor in his bar in a bid to woo the voters.
It is alleged in the post that those who consume free liquor from the bar ended up attacking a UDF worker and injured him using a beer bottle.
Following this, UDF filed a complaint with the Election Commission along with the visuals of distributing liquor for free.
