liquor outlet near Ernakulum old Railway station
Thiruvananthapuram: From today a new guideline will be in force for buying liquor from the beverage outlets in the state. Proof of vaccination (first dose) or RTPCR negative certificate has been mandatory for those coming for purchase.
The Beverage Corporation has given instructions to paste notices in front of all outlets regarding this new decision. Police presence is to be strengthened in front of the outlets to ensure procedures are followed.
Also as per the Bevco's new rule, entry to bars will be strictly for those who had received two doses of the vaccine, those who had taken at least one dose two weeks ago or underwent RTPCR negative test inside 72 hours and those who had come out of Covid illness one month ago.
The fresh changes had come in the wake of the High Court 's direction that the guidelines meant for shops should be extended to liquor stores as well.
