Kozhikode: A Class 9 student from Kozhikode has made a shocking revelation of how she was made a carrier by the drug mafia. The girl said that she had been using drugs including MDMA from Class 7 and later made a carrier.

Talking to Mathrubhumi News, the girl said that she was trapped by the drug mafia through Instagram group. She was added to a group by a friend, who completed his Class 12 studies.

She used to receive MDMA from outside. “They used to give it (drugs) to me outside the school. Nobody noticed it,” she told Mathrubhumi News.

Asked about the number of people involved in the drug dealing gang, she said there were several people who were aged around 20-25 years. The girl further said she learnt how to use MDMA through a link provided by the group.

The girl had been a carrier for the gang since the end of Class 7 and used to work after school hours. She said information on where to deliver these drugs was exchanged through Instagram chats. The girl used to receive around Rs 700 per gram as carrier charge, which is entrusted with her friends as she did not want to take it home fearing family's questions about the source of money.

When her parents used to question her on late arrival from school, she cooks up a story to tell her family.

The girl’s relationship with the drug mafia came to light when her mother noticed her abnormal behaviour. There were blade marks on her hand. Police have started an investigation into the matter.
