Bedridden patient at convent in Kochi dies of COVID-19

Kochi: A bedridden patient at a convent here in Kakkanad here has succumbed to COVID-19. The patient's condition had been critical for the last few days. She was confirmed with COVID-19.

There are 139 inmates, including nuns, at the convent in Kakkanad. All of them were subjected to antigen tests. 43 inmates were diagnosed with COVID-19. There are 23 bedridden patients at the convent.

Meanwhile, a person who was under quarantine in Malappuram collapsed and died. The deceased was identified as Changaramkulam Nannamukku native Aboobackar (55). He returned to his native place only 12 days ago. He was found dead on Friday morning. His COVID test will be performed on Friday.
