Fire force personnel extinguishing fire

Kozhikode: Former Balussery MLA Purushan Kadalundi’s son Vimal and his two children had a narrow escape from a fire accident. Vimal and the children were travelling in their car after sports training when the mishap took place.

As they noticed fumes coming out of the vehicle, Vimal stopped the car immediately near the road in Kovoor. As soon as they all stepped out of the car, the vehicle caught fire. Within two minutes, the car was completely charred. Vimal and children escaped miraculously.

By the time, fire force unit came from Vellimadukunnu, the car was almost gutted in the fire. Though they tried to extinguish the fire, only the frame of the car remained. Vimal said that he has no idea of what happened to the car and that the vehicle did not have any damages earlier.
