Balabhaskar’s death; overspeeding resulted in accident, says technical analysis report
Thiruvananthapuram: Overspeeding of the vehicle had resulted in the accident that led to the death of violinist Balabhaskar, revealed technical analysis report. The analysis test conducted by motor vehicle department officials and service engineers at Toyota company found that the car was speeding between 100 kmph and 120 kmph.
The detailed report citing all these findings were handed over to the Crime Branch. The final decision will be taken by the Crime Branch after examining the technical and forensic reports.
The Innova car in which Balabhaskar and family were travelling met with the accident on September 24, 2018. Balabhaskar died at a hospital while his two-year-old daughter Thejaswini Bala died on the spot. Balabhaskar’s wife and driver Arjun were critically injured in the accident.
