'B-Tech Chai', tea stalls in Kollam turns a platform for talent shows

Kollam: 'B-Tech Chai', tea shops in Kollam has been offering an opportunity for people interested in singing, dancing, delivering speeches and participating in discussions. In short, talented people will get an opportunity to improve and correct their mistakes in front of a mini audience.

B-Tech graduates Ananthu, Muhammad Shafi and Shanavas, started these tea shops at Pallimukku and near Irumbupallam during the covid crisis. Many people are coming here to have tea and to converse. There are talented people in many ways, but due to stage fear, they won't participate, and these three men found a solution for them through these tea shops.

Finally, the idea of 'Standup Kollam' came up as they decided to set up a stage of entertainment. Standup Kollam was formed to teach and train people to express their ideas fearlessly through the modern art of standup comedy.

People interested in talking can come to the shop and present their ideas in small groups. There will be helpers to correct mistakes and to improve our language. Talented individuals will be provided opportunities in channels and plan to start promotional campaigns. B-Tech tea shops will witness songs, dance, musical programs and mimicry. More than 70 types of tea and 10 types of coffee are available in B-Tech tea shops.
