Ayurvedic doctor killed in road accident in Thrissur

Dr Nithya

Thrissur: Dr Nithya (31), an ayurvedic practitioner at Sanjeevani Naturopathy centre in Peramangalam, succumbed after a tragic road accident happened near Amala Hospital here on Tuesday.

The accident happened around 9:00 AM. Nithya was on her way to the ayurvedic centre on her scooter. The backside of a private bus while overtaking her scooter hit on the vehicle. She toppled and was dragged into the back tyre of the bus, killing her.

Nithya is married to Muttichur native Tintu Unnikrishan and they have a son, Dhruv Krishna. She is the daughter of Thiruvananthapuram couple late Madhu and Usha.
