In the circular, Cardinal Alencherry also asks priests dissenting against the church and faith to stop such activities. Stating that he has been appointed as the chief of Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese by the Vatican, Alencherry said that soon, the archdiocese may receive a new Metropolitan if the synod agrees.
