Kozhikode: An audio clip, alleged to be that of Muslim League leader MK Muneer, shed light on the difference of opinion among party members over the action taken against ‘Haritha’ leaders.
"The decision was taken swiftly without discussion with the higher committee. Besides me, ET Mohammed Basheer and KPA Majeed strongly opposed it. PMA Salam took a decision by stating that it was the decision of Sadiq Ali Thangal," says in the audio clip.
Last Year, ‘Haritha’ (women’s wing of MSF) state committee members approached the Kerala Women’s Commission accusing MSF leaders of making inappropriate and offensive remarks against them. However, the Muslim League decided to dissolve the Haritha state committee. This decision drew a lot of criticism from within the party functionaries.
