The spirit of Onam season lies in proclaiming the unity of people and sharing the joy. Evoked by this, Mathrubhumi is going to unite people for a noble cause for this festive season.
As the occasion is known for the tradition of buying new clothes for loved ones, Mathrubhumi has launched a project for gifting Onakodi (new clothes for Onam) worth Rs 1,200 for economically weaker families.
Rs 10 lakh has been allocated for the initiative. To expand its scope Mathrubhumi is urging all kind hearts to be part of it.
Interested individuals can make their donations in the following ways:
- Submit cheque or DD in Mathrubhumi offices, saluting to Mathrubhumi Charitable Trust
It may be noted that donations will be exempt from tax under Section 80G.
