Kerala High Court
Kochi: A person who forged Kerala High Court order to prevent arrest in case pertaining to attempt to murder his wife, has been finally held by Karamana police here. The accused is identified as Prashant Kumar who is reportedly a lawyer.
Earlier, Kumar was booked under the charge of murder attempt for allegedly bludgeoning his wife to death. The prosecution’s complaint was that there was an attempt to mislead the investigating officers by forging a court order which restricts the arrest. Over the matter, Director General of Prosecution intimated Kerala High Court Registrar General. On the review of documents of those including IT Cell, it came to light that the court did not issued such an order.
