Mannarkkad: Minister for SC/ ST development K Radhakrishnan on Tuesday expressed his satisfaction with the court’s verdict on the Attappadi Madhu murder case.

According to the minister, some entities tried to bail out the accused and there were many hurdles. “There were issues including, witnesses turning hostile. Police had to give protection to witnesses,” he noted.

He said that the court found 14 accused guilty, “in a case that was susceptible of being subverted.”

“We should maintain vigil to restrict incidents like this from happening,” he pointed out.
