Palakkad: In an important development to the alleged lynching at Narasimukku in Attappady here, the second youngster who suffered injuries succumbed while undergoing treatment at Thrissur Medical College. The deceased is Vinay, a native of Kannur. In the lynching incident happened on the wee hours of July 1, Kodungallur native Nandhakishore had died on the same day.

Vinay, who suffered grievous injuries at internal organs including kidney, was ailing. Police officials were waiting for his recovery so that more vital information on the crime could be ascertained.
