Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the attack against students is the result of intolerance. In a Facebook post, Pinarayi said the Nazi-style attack on students and teachers on the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University are carried out by those who want to create unrest and violence in the country.

The news that ABVP activists had tried to block the ambulance that transported the grievously injured Students Union president only shows the focus of the attack mode.

The gang of attackers reached the campus like a terror gang with weapons. The Sangh Parivar must withdraw itself from playing these blood-soaked games. It is good if one realises the voice of students as the voice of the nation, the chief minister said.
