Thiruvananthapuram: Mallappally native S Sreeja who had lost her job over fake document got her appointment order. She collected her appointment order on Friday from the PSC Office in Kottayam.

She has been appointed as the Assistant Salesman in Civil Supplies Corporation.

PSC decided to appoint her after coming to know from the primary investigation that Sreeja did not submit the consent letter.

Sreeja had become desperate as the long-awaited government job evaded her. Her dream in life was to study and obtain a government job. She had to endure a tough phase in life and she is grateful for the appointment order. Sreeja also thanked all those who stood with her through tough times and those who helped her bring the matter to light.

Sreeja had attended the examination for Assistant Salesman in Civil Supplies Corporation of Kottayam on August 27, 2016. When the rank list was published on May 30, 2018, she obtained a rank of 233. Till August 4, 2021, the person preceding her rank secured appointment. She contacted the PSC office of Kottayam daily to enquire about her appointment.

Another Sreeja

Sreeja’s namesake from Kollam, a government employee had given a letter to PSC saying that she was the one who gave the consent letter. She is a clerk at the Revenue department in Kunnathur.

She gave the consent letter due to compulsion from others in the rank list. She has also apologized for the mistake. The conspiracy cooked up by certain people in the rank list has come out through this incident.
