Assembly polls will be a contest between CPM and BJP: K Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader K Surendran has declared that the assembly election in 2021 will be a contest between CPM and BJP. He took to his twitter page on Wednesday to respond on the LSG polls.
We were able to retain Palakkad municipality with full majority and win in Pandalam. Even in Trivandrum Congress tally has gone down from 21 to 9 seats. The Congress party is on a terminal decline. The assembly elections will be a contest between CPI(M) and the BJP.— K Surendran (@surendranbjp) December 16, 2020
Declaring an open war against CPM in the assembly polls, he noted that the state committee of BJP increased the tally in almost all the local bodies in Kerala.
We are enthused by the results of the local body elections despite @CPIMKerala & @INCKerala ganging up to deny our rightful chance to rule Trivandrum Corporation. @BJP4Keralam has been able to increase our tally in almost all the local bodies in Kerala.— K Surendran (@surendranbjp) December 16, 2020
Attacking congress, Surendran noted that Congress Mukth Kerala will be true very soon. He noted that CPM leadership should thank opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy for their victory in the local body polls.
The @CPIMKerala leadership should thank @chennithala & @Oommen_Chandy for their victory in the local self elections. Now it is clear, the fight is between @cpimspeak & @BJP4India in the 2021 assembly election. Congress Mukth Kerala will be true very soon.— K Surendran (@surendranbjp) December 16, 2020
