Arun Balachandran used govt board on private vehicle
Kochi: A complaint has been filed over Chief Minister's former IT fellow Arun Balachandran misusing the government board on his vehicle.
Arun used to travel in his private car after setting the government board on it. Though Vyttila native T. N. Prathapan filed a complaint to the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) in this regard, no action was taken.
There were some complaints regarding the flat where Arun Balachandran was residing in. A person who arrived at the place in connection with the issue captured a picture of Arun using a government board on a private vehicle. This photo has been taken as the evidence.
The complaint filed by T. N. Prathapan pointed out how Arun Balachandran uses the government board on his private vehicle when he is only a temporary staff in the IT department.
Earlier, reports had come to light revealing the relationship between Arun Balachandran and M. Sivasankar, former IT secretary and Chief Minister's principal secretary.
There are allegations that though the government board and emblem are widely misused, no action was taken when complaints were filed to the MVD.
