Artist makes clay sculpture to pay tribute to Maradona


Many fans of the legendary player arrived to see the clay sculpture. Maradona’s smiling face and classic number 10 jersey also are part of the art.

Pilathara (Kannur): A humble tribute has been paid to football legend Diego Maradona, who recently passed away, by making a sculpture in clay. Sculptor Chithran Kunjimangalam made the bust sculpture of Maradona in memory of his visit to Kerala.

Many fans of the legendary player arrived to see the clay sculpture. Maradona’s smiling face and classic number 10 jersey also are part of the art.

Son of sculptor Kunjimangalam Narayanan Master, Chithran is an art teacher at Durga Higher Secondary School in Kanhangad. He had made sculpture of other celebrities and leaders of various movements.
