Kannur: Several people in Payyanur were hospitalised of suspected food poisoning after consuming ice cream and snacks at a temple festival here.
Around 100 people sought treatment in various hospitals in Payyanur after showing symptoms of food poisoning, including body fatigue and vomiting.
It is learned that majority of those admitted are children. Fortunately, the condition of those in hospital remains stable. The food and safety department has launched an investigation into the incident.
