Kochi: Customs (Preventive) will question Amala, wife of Karipur gold smuggling case accused Arjun Aayanki, at its office in Kochi. It is learnt that Customs received information about Amala's involvement in the crime. Amala had denied of knowing anything during her earlier interrogation on July 5.
In the raid conducted at Arjun’s house, Customs seized a diary and some other materials too. The seized items contained information on Amala’s knowledge of the crime. Amala requested more time to appear before the Customs, however, it was denied. Customs believes Amala hid certain information and the questioning today is very crucial in the probe ahead.
