4 contract workers made permanent in Raj Bhavan, says CM

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan mentioned the permanent appointment of four contract-based staff in Raj Bhavan during the legislative assembly session on Friday. As many as 77 deputation appointments were made for 14 posts in Raj Bhavan during various phases.

CM said that the contract-based appointments were carried out in Raj Bhavan via Kudumbashree. He was replying to the question raised by DK Murali.

In Raj Bhavan, temporary appointments on contract basis were conducted for the posts of Cooks, Waiter, Female Attendant, Office Attendant, Tailor, Mate, Lasker, Dhobi, Gardener, Sweeper, Sanitation Worker, Sweeper-Cum-Sanitation Worker and Telephone Operator. Raj Bhavan made four of these appointments permanent, said CM.
