Thiruvananthapuram: Anupama informed that she will conclude her protest in front of the Child Welfare Committee office in connection with the illegal adoption case. However, the next phase of the protest will begin on December 10.

Anupama decided to lodge a complaint with the Central Adoption Committee. Anupama also alleged that it was through media she came to know the recent developments and had not received the report of TV Anupama IAS. The questions raised in the hearing were intended to protect the Child Welfare Committee.

She also pointed out that only feeble cases were charged against her father PS Jayachandran. She alleged that the government tried to support the culprits. Though severe lapses were marked on the part of CPM, the party was not willing to correct it, said Anupama.

In an online meeting convened on Thursday evening, it has been decided to launch a convention proclaiming protests against the CWC secretary Shiju Khan and chairperson N Sunanda. Legal measures with the help of lawyers at national level will be sought to expel Shiju Khan and Sunanda from CWC office.

They have also decided to demand action against Anupama’s father PS Jayachandran for entrusting the child to CWC without the mother’s consent.
