Expert committee will examine report on KSRTC bus terminal construction, Kerala transport minister


After the controversies erupted over the erratic construction of the KSRTC bus terminal, an engineering team, headed by Prof. Alakasundara, was appointed to submit a report. After studies, the report was submitted and the new team will examine it.

Kozhikode: A five-member expert team has been appointed to examine the report on the Kozhikode KSRTC bus terminal construction and submit needed recommendations out of it, said Kerala Transport Minister Antony Raju.

After the controversies erupted over the erratic construction of the KSRTC bus terminal, an engineering team, headed by Prof. Alakasundara, was appointed to submit a report. After studies, the report was submitted and the new team will examine it.

The new team comprises of Chief Technical Examiner, S Harikumar (convener); IIT Garakpur Civil Engineering section head prof. Nirjan Dhang; Kozhikode NIT Structural Engineering section senior prof. Dr. TM Madhavan Pillai; Chief Engineer of Public Works Department, L Beena; and Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College Professor, KR Bindu. Two-week time was given to submit the report.
