Ansi Kabeer, Anjana Shajan, Accident scene
Kochi: Police questioned Roy Vayalat, the owner of Hotel No. 18 at Fort Kochi in connection with the road accident which claimed the life of former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabeer, first runner up Anjana Shajan and their friend. According to reports, he was grilled for 7 hours by the probe team.
He had submitted the CCTV footage to the police including the one at the DJ party. Ernakulam ASP said that there is nothing suspicious in the visuals. But the police have got some hints about the arguments that happened at the party. Police will carry out a detailed investigation on the same.
Meanwhile, the police have quizzed Saiju, who was driving the Audi car which followed the car travelled by the models. He had contacted Roy, the owner of Hotel No. 18 soon after the accident. Saiju is a friend of the hotelier. After the accident, it was confirmed that Saiju had called Roy and other employees of the hotel. It is clear that Saiju had followed the girls as per the directions of Roy.
