Tirur: One more COVID-19 death was reported in Kerala on Wednesday. Malappuram Tirur native Abdul Khader (69), who collapsed and died while undergoing quarantine, tested positive for COVID-19.

He was placed under quarantine after returning from Bengaluru. It is reported that the man was asymptomatic.

Prima facie, it is learned that he died of a cardiac arrest. In the sample test, he turned positive for the virus.

His body is being kept at the mortuary in Tirurangadi Government Taluk Hospital. His last rites will be performed as per COVID-19 protocol.
