Anganwadis in Kerala to reopen on Jan 1

Thiruvananthapuram: Anganwadis in the state will start functioning from January 1. In the first phase of reopening, the differently-abled students will be excluded from attending the classes. All Anganwadi workers and drivers who take children to the Anganwadi must be fully vaccinated.

The working hours must be scheduled between 9.30 to 12.30 am. Anganwadis will function on Saturdays as well.

Parents will not be allowed inside the Anganwadis.

The students must be seated at a distance of 1.5 meters. Anganwadis with more than 15 children must conduct classes in separate batches after considering the opinion of the parents.
