Ananda Bose hints at submission of report on Kerala BJP issues
New Delhi: Retired civil servant C V Ananda Bose said that he has submitted the report on Kerala BJP issues and the performance of the party in the Assembly polls to the `competent authority’. After BJP national general secretary Arun Singh issued a statement that the central leadership has not entrusted any team to look into the party issues in Kerala and asked for any reports, news of Ananda Bose submitting the report has come out.
“A competent authority had demanded a report. And I have submitted the report on my views,” he said. But Ananda Bose was not ready to disclose who the competent authority was. There are reports that he had submitted the report on the direction of the Prime Minister. He also said that the national leadership has not sought a report.
Earlier there were reports that the central leadership had asked to submit a report on the Kerala BJP issues from C V Ananda Bose, Jacob Thomas and E Sreedharan. Kerala BJP president K Surendran has declined to confirm the news and said no such report existed.
It is learnt that Ananda Bose submitted the report to PM Narendra Modi on the recent BJP’s defeat in the Assembly polls.
