Amit Shah criticises state leadership for under utilization of positions
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP president Amit Shah criticized the party's state leadership for not utilizing their positions effectively for political achievements. Though the central government had given positions to the leaders in Kerala, they have failed to reflect it in the departments which they represent, said Amit Shah. He made the comment in the BJP core committee meeting held at Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.
He said that the leaders failed to use the opportunities to bring together various departments. He also remarked that they weren’t able to make use of the appointments of Kummanam, Kannanthanam and V Muraleedharan at various positions and convey it to the public.
Amit Shah has also scheduled a meeting with the RSS state leadership. The meeting is aimed at resolving the controversy regarding the removal of Kummanam from the post of state president. He might also discuss the election of new BJP state president.
The state core committee meet was from 12 pm to 3 pm today. The meeting attended by various in-charges of parliament constituencies and Prabharis took place from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Amit Shah will also participate in a meeting with Lakshadweep party leaders. The meeting will be held at Thycaud Government Guest House.
He will return to Delhi on Wednesday morning. He had reached Kerala to solve issues in state BJP leadership and to prepare the party to face the Loksabha elections in 2019.
