Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran said that all Devaswom Boards in Kerala will be dissolved as soon as BJP comes to power in the state. He added that the politicians will be removed from administration and believers will be appointed.

The main reason for the destruction of temples in Kerala is that the political parties try to bring them under control of the government. The UDF leaders were hiding when the Sabarimala protest was going on. Not even a single Congress leader was with the public during the strike, Surendran said.

We did not see Congress outside Pathanamthitta. It was we who defeated the government. Oommen Chandy took the most brutal decision in Sabarimala issue. He did not even make a statement. He was thinking this as an issue of Hindus, Surendran pointed out.

The Pinarayi-led government should make it clear if they are willing to withdraw all the cases charged against the believers during the protest. Those who claim to have changed their stand in Sabarimala issue should make it public, Surendran demanded.

If BJP comes to power, we will enforce a law against love Jihad similar to the one imposed in Uttar Pradesh. UDF and LDF should make clear if they are willing to do the same. Statements are of no use when it comes to the matter of belief. It requires action, he added.
