Alappuzha man who leaves home promising to bring cake for daughter dies in a bike accident


Vishnu, a salesman in a spare parts shop in Ernakulam, left home to attend the anniversary celebration of his friend. His bike crashed with a car as he was on his way back home.

Thuravoor: Vishnu Prasad left home promising to bring cake for his three-year-old daughter Adhviya. However, his family was left in shock when they received the news of his death in the late hours of the night. Thuravoor native Vishnu Prasad (28) was killed in an accident that happened in Cherthala at around 12:15 am on Monday.

Vishnu, a salesman in a spare parts shop in Ernakulam, left home to attend the anniversary celebration of his friend. His bike crashed into a car as he was on his way back home.

Although Vishnu was rushed to a nearby private hospital in Cherthala, he succumbed to his injuries. Vishnu’s father Prasad and mother Mini do menial jobs to earn for the family, but do not have work on most days. Vishnu was the sole breadwinner of the family and his death has left them hopeless. Bibitha is Vishnu’s wife.
