Air Marshal MSG Menon takes charge as Director General
New Delhi: Air Marshal MSG Menon, a native of Palakkad, took charge as director general of Works and Ceremonial wing at the Indian Air Force headquarters on Thursday. He was commissioned as an officer in Administrative branch of IAF in December 1982.
He completed Higher Air Command Course from College of Air Warfare. He is an alumnus of Wellingdon Defence Service Staff College and National Defence College.
He served as operational radar unit commander, Air Force Administrative College in Coimbatore, Principal Director Operations and Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Organisation and Ceremonial).
For his distinguished service, the Air Marshal was commended by the VCAS in the year 2007. He was also honoured with Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) in 2016.
