Dubai: Air India’s move to increase the ticket fare for stretcher services has been withdrawn. The fare increase from the gulf sector has been withdrawn. The flight company had increased the stretcher service fare five folds from July 20th.
Mathrubhumi News was the first to report about the hike that affects the expats in Gulf countries. Following this, there was a widespread protest against the company’s move. The decision to withdraw the fare hike came after that. However, the fare hike would continue in domestic services and other international services.
