New Delhi: Following the defeat of Congress in Kerala, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) is receiving messages to appoint K Sudhakaran as KPCC president and VD Satheesan as opposition leader.
Also, several complaints were raised against KC Venugopal and KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran. The rush of messages to AICC happenned when the political affairs committee meeting was about to be held in Kerala.
AICC sources hinted that thousands of emails were received supporting K Sudhakaran and V D Satheesan. The High Command sources also stated that the email inbox is flooded with messages. The emails are sent in both English and Hindi.
The messages indicate that some leaders are trying to become chief minister through shortcuts, indirectly mentioning some national leaders. Criticising Mullappally, the messages pointed out that Congress has only leaders and the party has no presence in the bottom level in Kerala.
Some others complained that the group based issues will affect the existence of Congress in Kerala and that group managers are behind the issues within the party. Meanwhile, AICC representatives will set out to Kerala for further discussions.
