Thiruvananthapuram: SRIT India Pvt Ltd, the Bengaluru-based company which won the contract from KELTRON (Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited) for installing artificial intelligence-enabled surveillance cameras in the state, has sent a legal notice to Opposition Leader VD Satheesan.

Earlier, Satheesan had alleged corruption in the project contract and irregularities in the subcontracts made by SRIT. Following this, a company representative warned to initiate legal action against the leader if he fails to withdraw the allegations.
SRIT CEO Madhu Nambiar had then told 'Mathrubhumi News' that the company would take legal action against Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala. He added that the company would no more take up any new projects from the state due to the recent developments.
"SRIT has decided to file a criminal defamation case against VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithalla for their recent allegations targeting the company. A notice would be issued to both leaders soon," he said.
