After CM, KK Shailaja supports SP Yathish Chandra
Kozhikode: Minister KK Shailaja on Saturday said that the allegations against SP Yathish Chandra, that his actions are against womanhood, are baseless.
Speaking to media at Kozhikode she opined that SP didn’t misbehave with union minister Pon Radhakrishnan but only explained the situation at Sabarimala.
“The situation in Sabarimala post flood is very pathetic. Even if all the vehicles are allowed to enter, there is issue of parking. Yathish Chandra had only said that minister can go in his vehicle but the pilot vehicles can’t be allowed. It was only part of his duty,” she said.
At the same time, she alleged that KP Sasikala and Sobha Surendran are at a point where they can say whatever they want. She also added that police didn’t misbehave with Sasikala.
Minister also said the home ministry and CM have informed that devotees can reach Sabarimala in groups. It doesn’t come under violation of prohibitory order. The prohibitory order has been declared at Sabarimala for ensuring safe, secured and smooth pilgrimage.
