Adoor Prakash helping goons involved in murder of DYFI activists, alleges Kadakampally Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Kadakampally Surendran has raised allegations against Adoor Prakash MP in connection with the death of 2 DYFI activists in Venjaramoodu in Thiruvananthapuram. Kadakampally Surendran stated that Adoor Prakash has been helping the goons, who helped him secure the unexpected election victory, for the last one year. He told media that the MP from Attingal is making interventions to help them escape from the case.
Police have decided to collect the call record details of the accused for the past one month. Minister EP Jayarajan had raised allegations about the involvement of important leaders in hatching the conspiracy. It was after this that police decided to extend the investigation to all those involved in the conspiracy. Adoor Prakash MP had even challenged those raising allegations to give proof of him communicating directly with the accused.
The incident happened in Thalayil ward of Venjaramoodu. The investigation also focuses on Gopan, a ward member, as it is expected that the accused might get in touch with him. However, when investigating officers tried to get in touch with Gopan for extracting his statement, his phone was switched off. This has also raised suspicion.
