Kochi: The trial court on June 28 will pronounce verdict over a petition demanding cancellation of bail granted to actor Dileep in the actress attack case. Meanwhile, the prosecution requested the court permission to collect the voice samples of Dileep, his brother Anoop, Sarath and Dr Hyder Ali. They also asked the court to direct Anoop and Suraj to produce their phones for further examination.
Earlier, the prosecution approached the court, claiming the actor had violated the conditions. While hearing the petition, the court asked the prosecution to find out the date of the audio recordings submitted by director Balachandrakumar.
The court also asked the probe team whether they found the laptop used by Balachandrakumar to transfer audio recordings to the pen drive. The prosecution said that the investigation is ongoing and recordings in the pen drive are authentic. He only made the audio recordings more audible for hearing, added prosecution.
Meanwhile, the prosecution reiterated that the accused had intentionally removed video files from the mobile phone. It is pointed out that 152 files spanning 1 hr 15 min were sent from the phone.
However, the court examined that two files were deleted from the phone while it was in the custody of the probe team. The defendants said that the actor didn't violate any conditions relating to his bail.
