Kochi: The Kerala High Court came down on the survivor in the actress attack case on Friday. The court questioned on what basis the survivor raised allegations against the trial court judge. The High Court was considering the petition filed by the survivor alleging attempts made to topple the investigation.
The High Court censured the actress for stating that the memory card, including visuals of attack, was accessed from the trial court. Meanwhile, the survivor’s lawyer pointed out that the allegation was raised based on the information received from the prosecution. The High Court then questioned whether the prosecution was leaking confidential details of the probe.
The investigation into the alleged leak of visuals is still progressing. It is still unclear on who had accessed the visuals or who had viewed it. In this context, the court condemned the contention that visuals of attack was leaked from the trial court.
The High Court will consider the case again on August 1. The court has approved the request of eighth accused Dileep to implead in the petition filed by the survivor demanding a fair investigation.
