Dileep had opposed the prosecution’s demand to submit his mobile phones. However, the prosecution stood firm on the request that the protection ensured by the court to the suspects have to be revoked if they failed to present the phones. Though Dileep raised allegations that the Crime Branch may conspire fake evidence against him if he hands over the phone, the court dismissed his claims. Following this, the court also rejected his request seeking more time till Tuesday to present the phone and informed him to approach the Supreme Court if necessary.
