Dileep obtained fake medical documents from Aluva hospital: police

Aluva: Adding a new twist to the actress attack case, the police have revealed that actor Dileep secured fake medical documents from a private hospital to show that he was under treatment for fever at the time when the actress was attacked in Kochi.

The police have recorded the statement of a doctor and a nurse at a private hospital here in this regard. The doctor has reportedly told police that the document was prepared as per the demand of Dileep.

The document shows that Dileep was under treatment for fever for four days from February 14 to 21 at the hospital. The actress was attacked in a moving vehicle on February 17.

The hospital files also had details of subjecting Dileep to medical examination and treatment on the said date. However, a detailed probe by the police revealed that the actor did not seek any medical help at the hospital.

During this period, Dileep had attended an event organised at Durbar Hall ground to pledge support to the actress. The very next day, he was present at the shooting location of his film.

Dileep was granted a conditional bail by the High Court on October 3, 2017.
