Kochi: The High Court deferred its verdict to Tuesday (Oct 3) on the bail application of actor Dileep, who has been remanded in the actress attack case.
The Prosecution completed its arguments at the court today. The defence part was heard on Tuesday.
The Prosecution said the search for the mobile phone, which will be a crucial evidence in the case, will continue.
During the hearing today, the police submitted before the court that the actor tried to influence the witnesses while in jail and that it has clear evidence relating to this.
This is Dileep’s fifth bail plea, the third in the High Court. Earlier, the Angamaly Magistrate Court had rejected his bail twice. He has sought a conditional bail this time. It is the actor’s last chance to seek bail before the SIT files the charge sheet.
