New Delhi: Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the 2017 actress assault case, approached the Supreme Court on Thursday seeking bail asserting that the case trial is not likely to be completed soon. The Kerala High Court rejected his bail plea on March 6.
Suni alleged in his plea that actor Dileep, an accused in the case, is a celebrity. As a result, the trial has been delayed for several reasons.
The apex court had earlier permitted Suni to approach the court if the trial is not completed in a timely manner.
