Actress assault case: Crime Branch questions actor Siddique


Kochi: Crime Branch team investigating the actress sexual assault case of 2017 questioned actor Siddique in connection with his remark in an interview and the letter written by Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the case, purportedly to Dileep.

Earlier, Siddique, in an interview given to an online media, remarked that Dileep had made a mistake, and he would side with the actor at any time.

Suni had mentioned Siddique's name in his letter. The Crime Branch is looking to clarify these matters.

Besides, an audio clip, said to be of Dileep's brother-in-law, had surfaced in which the person was heard forcing actor Siddique to change his statement.

The Crime Branch also questioned Hyderali, the owner of Anwar hospital in Aluva. He had earlier changed his statement during the trial.
